Trauvo collects the data needed to run your account, personalize suggestions, power planning and friend features, and support purchases and troubleshooting.

What we collect

  • Account details you provide, such as name, email, sign-in method, and optional profile photo.
  • Location or home city when you allow it, plus visit verification events if you use features that depend on being there.
  • App activity such as suggestions viewed, favorites, skips, visits, ratings, recent activity, plans, invites, privacy settings, and goals.
  • Purchase, credit, redemption, and transaction records needed to deliver paid features.
  • Support messages, bug reports, and limited device or app diagnostics you send to us.

Optional permissions and connected features

  • Notifications for reminders, plan updates, and account messages.
  • Calendar access when you choose Add to Calendar for an activity or plan.
  • Contacts access when you choose to invite friends or share plans from your address book.
  • Camera and photo library access if you add profile photos, scan QR codes, or save and share memories.
  • Background location only if you explicitly allow it for visit verification, proximity features, or live progress.

How we use data

  • Deliver personalized suggestions, plans, stats, reminders, widgets, and account features.
  • Keep your account signed in, secure, and synced across app sessions.
  • Process credits, promo codes, and purchases.
  • Let you invite friends, manage shared plans, and honor your privacy settings.
  • Improve reliability, investigate bugs, and prevent abuse.

Sharing and visibility

  • With people you choose to invite, add to plans, or connect with as friends.
  • With service providers that help us run hosting, notifications, payments, analytics, and core app operations.
  • When required by law or when needed to protect users, our service, or the public.

We do not sell your personal location data.

Your controls

  • Change notification, location, calendar, contacts, camera, and photo permissions in iOS Settings.
  • Manage home city, privacy settings, and credit controls in the app.
  • Turn off shake-to-send feedback or other optional preferences in Settings.
  • Delete your account in Profile > Delete account.

Accounts and eligibility

  • Use accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
  • Trauvo is intended for users age 13 and older.

Using Trauvo

  • Trauvo helps you discover local activities, save favorites, make plans, invite friends, and track adventures.
  • You are responsible for your travel, decisions, and personal safety when using suggestions or shared plans.
  • Activity details such as availability, pricing, hours, weather, accessibility, and venue conditions can change, so verify important details before you go.

Plans, friends, and shared content

  • Only share content, invitations, and contact details you have the right to share.
  • Respect other users and their privacy settings when using friend, invite, QR, or plan features.
  • We may remove content or limit features if use becomes abusive, deceptive, or unsafe.

Credits, purchases, and promo codes

  • Credits unlock paid actions shown in the app and are tied to your account.
  • Prices, pack contents, promo rules, and any redemption limits are shown at purchase or redemption time.
  • Used credits are not refundable except where required by law or platform rules.
  • Apple or App Store billing terms may also apply to in-app purchases.

Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, reverse engineer, abuse credentials, spam, harass, defraud, or use the service unlawfully.
  • Do not misuse invitations, feedback tools, purchases, credits, or privacy controls.
  • Do not interfere with service operation or attempt to bypass limits, security, or payment rules.

Service changes and suspension

  • We may update the app, its features, credit rules, limits, or these terms from time to time.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or create risk for users or the service.
  • Continued use after an update means you accept the latest version of these terms.

Disclaimers

  • Trauvo is provided on an as-available basis.
  • To the extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free activity data.
  • We are not responsible for third-party venues, services, or content that appears in suggestions or shared plans.
